The Glenbrook North Spartans baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Libertyville Wildcats to 2 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Spartans (25-7) will now prepare for their match against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Roadrunners go into the non-league match with a 26-6 record. In their last match, Nazareth Academy ran past Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL), 11-1, in a non-league match.
The Wildcats (19-13) will now prepare for their match against Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 27-7 record. In their last match, Grayslake Central was overwhelmed by Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL), 6-4, in a non-league match.
