The Carrabec Cobras softball team (North Anson, ME), was routed 19-1 in Saturday's league test with the visiting Dirigo Cougars (Dixfield, ME)
Coming up next, the Cougars encounter the Oak Hill Raiders (Sabattus, ME) in a Class C South test, on Monday, May 22. Dirigo will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 7-6 record after their 32-0 league win over Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME).
The Cobras (1-11) will now prepare for their test against Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME). The Phoenix come into the Class C South test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Spruce Mountain overcame Winthrop (Winthrop, ME), 10-9, in a league test.
