Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Harlem Huskies (Machesney Park, IL), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Maple Leafs now own a 27-8 record. They take the field next when they host Lockport for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 20. Geneseo will battle a Porters squad coming off a 5-3 league win over Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL). The Porters record now stands at 25-6.

With the loss, Harlem falls to 14-10 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to East Moline United (East Moline, IL) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 20. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 18-12. East Moline United lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington (Washington, IL)
