The Geneseo Maple Leafs softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Limestone Rockets to 2 in the Maple Leafs non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Geneseo improves its record to 27-8 on the year. The Maple Leafs host Harlem (Machesney Park, IL) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league game on Saturday, May 20. The Huskies come into the game with a record of 14-9. Harlem lost 3-2 in their recent league game against Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL)

In their next game, the Rockets clash with the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 20. Limestone will attempt to improve on its 6-17 season record. The Porters come into the battle with a 25-6 record after their 5-3 league win over Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL).
