In Saturday's non-league contest, the South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) softball team held off the visiting Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC), by a margin of 4-3.
With the triumph, South Johnston moves its record to 24-1 on the year. The Trojans travel to Western Alamance (Elon, NC) to play the Warriors in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 23. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 20-3. Western Alamance won 12-0 in their recent non-league contest against Scotland (Laurinburg, NC)
