North Knox Warriors (Bicknell, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Eastern Greene Thunderbirds (Bloomfield, IN), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mitchell for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 21. North Knox will battle a Bluejackets squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Brownstown Central (Brownstown, IN). The Bluejackets record now stands at 7-15.

With the loss, Eastern Greene falls to 7-14 on the campaign.
