The St. Dominic Saints softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Gray-New Gloucester Patriots to 11 in the Saints non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, St. Dominic moves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Saints travel to Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 21. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 6-2. Monmouth Academy won 9-2 in their recent league game against Mount Abram (Strong, ME)

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Wells Warriors (Wells, ME) in a Class B South match, on Wednesday, May 22. Gray-New Gloucester will attempt to advance on its 0-11 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 7-6 record after their 6-5 league loss to Greely (Cumberland Center, ME).
