The South Portland Red Riots softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Kennebunk Rams to 2 in the Red Riots league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, South Portland moves its record to 10-2 on the year. The Red Riots travel to Falmouth (Falmouth, ME) to play the Navigators in a Class A South game on Thursday, May 23. The Navigators come into the game with a record of 1-13. Falmouth lost 24-17 in their recent league game against Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME)

In their next game, the Rams play the Scarborough Red Storm (Scarborough, ME) in a Class A South game, on Wednesday, May 22. Kennebunk will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record. The Red Storm come into the game with a 9-5 record after their 16-1 non-league win over Sanford (Sanford, ME).
