South Medford Panthers (Medford, OR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lakeridge Pacers (Lake Oswego, OR), 10-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 12-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sheldon for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 22. South Medford will battle a Irish squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Franklin (Portland, OR). The Irish record now stands at 23-3.

With the loss, Lakeridge falls to 15-12 on the campaign.
