Stevens Cardinals (Claremont, NH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Mascoma Royals (Canaan, NH), 26-9 in a league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Brady for a Division III challenge on Wednesday, May 22. Stevens will battle a Giants squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Somersworth (Somersworth, NH). The Giants record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Mascoma falls to 1-13 on the campaign. The Royals host White Mountains (Whitefield, NH) to battle the Spartans in a Division III challenge on Thursday, May 23. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 2-12. White Mountains lost 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Woodsville (Woodsville, NH)
