The crowd at Monday's league match between the Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) and the host St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI), saw Prout's softball squad nip St. Raphael Academy by a count of 7-0.

The Crusaders now sport a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they host Moses Brown for a Division 1 (State) match on Tuesday, May 21. Prout will face a Quakers squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Quakers record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, St. Raphael Academy falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Saints host Cumberland (Cumberland, RI) to face the Clippers in a Division 1 (State) match on Wednesday, May 22. The Clippers enter the match with a record of 10-10. Cumberland lost 2-0 in their recent league match against Coventry (Coventry, RI)
