In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Auburn Rockets baseball team scored a close 6-1 win over the Shrewsbury Colonials.
The Rockets (18-2) will now prepare for their game against Southbridge (Southbridge, MA). The Pioneers go into the non-league game with a 5-7 record. In their last game, Southbridge was overwhelmed by Prouty (Spencer, MA), 8-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Colonials play the St. John's Pioneers (Shrewsbury, MA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 21. Shrewsbury will attempt to improve on its 14-3 season record. The Pioneers go into the game with a 15-4 record after their 5-4 league loss to St. John's Prep (Danvers, MA).
