The Yarmouth Clippers baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Mt. Ararat Eagles to 1 in the Clippers non-league win on Tuesday.
The Clippers now own a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greely for a Class B South test on Wednesday, May 21. Yarmouth will clash with a Rangers team coming off a 5-4 league loss to Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME). The Rangers record now stands at 9-3.
With the defeat, Mt. Ararat drops to 8-2 on the year. The Eagles host Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME) to clash with the Vikings in a Class A North test on Wednesday, May 21. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 6-5. Oxford Hills won 5-1 in their recent league test against Bangor (Bangor, ME)
