The Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL) volleyball held off the host Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL), 2-1 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Foxes now possess a 10-21 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oswego East for a Suburban Prarie game on Thursday, May 22. Yorkville will face a Wolves squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 12-16.
The Bengals (12-22) will now prepare for their game against Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL). The Raiders go into the Suburban Prarie game with a 26-7 record. In their last game, Bolingbrook was edged by Joliet West (Joliet, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
