Fans at Tuesday's non-league test between the Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME) and the host Marshwood Hawks (South Berwick, ME), witnessed Cheverus's lacrosse squad hold off Marshwood by a count of 13-12.

The Stags (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME). The Vikings enter the Class A test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Oxford Hills nipped Lewiston (Lewiston, ME), 13-9, in a league test.

Next, the Hawks battle the Windham Eagles (Windham, ME) in a non-league test, on Thursday, May 22. Marshwood will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Eagles enter the test with a 8-1 record after their 11-7 league win over Thornton Academy (Saco, ME).
