In Tuesday's non-league test, the North Daviess Cougars (Elnora, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the host Bloomington North Cougars (Bloomington, IN), by a tally of 9-2.
Next, the Cougars clash with the Loogootee Lions (Loogootee, IN) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 27. North Daviess will attempt to advance on its 19-7 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 5-16 record after their 13-11 league loss to South Knox (Vincennes, IN).
The Cougars (5-14) will now prepare for their test against Orleans (Orleans, IN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 17-6 record. In their last test, Orleans held off Eastern Greene (Bloomfield, IN), 11-2, in a non-league test.
