Edwards County Lions (Albion, IL) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Webber Trojans (Bluford, IL), 2-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Edwards County improves its record to 19-6 on the year. The Lions travel to Grayville (Grayville, IL) to play the Bison in a non-league game on Friday, May 23. The Bison enter the game with a record of 8-10. Grayville won 15-5 in their recent non-league game against Wayne City (Wayne City, IL)

The Trojans now hold a 1-12 record.
