The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Manton Rangers (Manton, MI) and the host Houghton Lake Bobcats (Houghton Lake, MI), observed Manton's softball team get by Houghton Lake by a tally of 12-10.

The Rangers (8-8) will now prepare for their bout against Buckley (Buckley, MI). The Bears go into the non-league bout with a 10-4 record.

In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Oscoda Owls (Oscoda, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 22. Houghton Lake will attempt to advance on its 12-12 season record. The Owls go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 13-4 league win over Alcona (Lincoln, MI).
