The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Lakeland Eagles (White Lake, MI) and the host South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI), observed Lakeland's softball team get by South Lyon East by a tally of 13-12.

The Eagles (23-9) will now prepare for their bout against Howell (Howell, MI). The Highlanders go into the non-league bout with a 23-12 record. In their last bout, Howell tipped Franklin (Livonia, MI), 16-6, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Plymouth Wildcats (Canton, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 22. South Lyon East will attempt to advance on its 14-17 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 9-3 non-league loss to Divine Child (Dearborn, MI).
