Morris Catholic Crusaders (Denville, NJ) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ), 12-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Morris Catholic upgrades its record to 13-10 on the year. The Crusaders host Mount St. Dominic Academy (Caldwell, NJ) to play the Lions in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 20. The Lions enter the game with a record of 17-3. Mount St. Dominic Academy won 6-2 in their recent league game against Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ)

The Vikings now own a 15-8 record.
