The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Vinalhaven Vikings (Vinalhaven, ME) and the host Telstar Rebels (Bethel, ME), observed Vinalhaven's softball team get by Telstar by a final score of 8-6.

The Vikings (6-1) will now prepare for their bout against Carrabec (North Anson, ME). The Cobras go into the Class D South bout with a 8-1 record. In their last bout, Carrabec tipped Wiscasset (Wiscasset, ME), 18-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rebels battle the Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 27. Telstar will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record.
