The Highland Trojans softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Wheeler Bearcats to 0 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Highland moves its record to 14-11 on the year. The Trojans travel to South Central (Union Mills, IN) to clash with the Satellites in a non-league game on Saturday, May 22. The Satellites come into the game with a record of 20-5. South Central lost 1-0 in their recent non-league game against Andrean (Merrillville, IN)

In their next game, the Bearcats clash with the Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles (Lake Station, IN) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 27. Wheeler will attempt to move on its 18-7 season record. The Fighting Eagles come into the game with a 2-18 record after their 22-4 non-league loss to Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN).
