West Seattle (Seattle, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Stanwood Spartans (Stanwood, WA), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, West Seattle upgrades its record to 24-1 on the season. The travel to Mercer Island (Mercer Island, WA) to battle the Islanders in a non-league test on Friday, May 27. The Islanders come into the test with a record of 18-6. Mercer Island won 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Auburn (Auburn, WA)
With the defeat, Stanwood falls to 13-9 on the season.
