WF West Bearcats (Chehalis, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host White River Hornets (Buckley, WA), 7-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, WF West upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Tumwater (Tumwater, WA) to battle the Thunderbirds in a non-league test on Friday, May 27. The Thunderbirds come into the test with a record of 19-6. Tumwater won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Ephrata (Ephrata, WA)

With the defeat, White River falls to 11-6 on the season.
