The Hampden Broncos crushed the visiting Mt. Blue Cougars baseball team by a count of 8-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Broncos now possess a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they host Old Town for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 22. Hampden will face a Coyotes team coming off a 12-1 league win over Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME). The Coyotes record now stands at 9-3.
Next, the Cougars face the Lewiston Blue Devils (Lewiston, ME) in a Class A North bout, on Wednesday, May 22. Mt. Blue will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 5-8 record after their 6-5 league loss to Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME).
