Glens Falls Black Bears (Glens Falls, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Schalmont Sabres (Schenectady, NY), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Black Bears now own a 16-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ichabod Crane for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 23. Glens Falls will face a Riders squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Hudson Falls (Hudson Falls, NY). The Riders record now stands at 20-0.
