The Huntingdon Mustangs the visiting Westmoreland Eagles softball squad by a count of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Mustangs (17-4) will now prepare for their battle against Meigs County (Decatur, TN). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 31-2 record. In their last battle, Meigs County nudged Riverside (Decaturville, TN), 14-1, in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now sport a 5-18 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 22. Westmoreland will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to Meigs County (Decatur, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 18-11.
