The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Malcolm Clippers (Malcolm, NE) and the host Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE), saw Malcolm's baseball team get by Adams Central by a tally of 5-4.

The Clippers (27-2) will now prepare for their battle against Central City/Centura (Central City, NE). The Kernels enter the non-league battle with a 24-1 record. In their last battle, Central City/Centura held off Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE), 8-6, in a non-league battle.
