Bergenfield Bears (Bergenfield, NJ) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Bergenfield improves its record to 13-12 on the season. The Bears host Kennedy (Paterson, NJ) to face the Knights in a non-league test on Thursday, May 22. The Knights go into the test with a record of 4-14.

The Vikings now own a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clifton for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 27.
