The Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) lacrosse nudged the host Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), 10-9 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Chieftains now own a 7-8 record.

With the loss, Mt. Hope falls to 3-12 on the year. The Huskies travel to Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI) to face the Chargers in a non-league outing on Thursday, May 22. The Chargers go into the outing with a record of 4-12. Chariho won 12-11 in their recent non-league outing against Burrillville (Harrisville, RI)
