Ohio High School Softball - Big Walnut bounces Whetstone

May 21, 2025: Sunbury, OH 43074

The Big Walnut Golden Eagles (Sunbury, OH) softball routed the visiting Whetstone Braves (Columbus, OH), 15-4 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 15-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Vernon for a non-league outing on Friday, May 23. Big Walnut will encounter a Yellowjackets team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Briggs (Columbus, OH). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 23-2.

With the loss, Whetstone moves to 10-10 on the season.
