The Briggs Bruins softball squad (Columbus, OH), was routed 15-0 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets (Mt. Vernon, OH)

With the triumph, Mt. Vernon improves its record to 23-2 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Big Walnut (Sunbury, OH) to face the Golden Eagles in a non-league contest on Friday, May 23. The Golden Eagles enter the contest with a record of 15-12. Big Walnut won 15-4 in their recent non-league contest against Whetstone (Columbus, OH)

The Bruins now hold a 12-4 record.
