Unicoi County Blue Devils (Erwin, TN) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Dyer County Choctaws (Newbern, TN), 3-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Unicoi County upgrades its record to 20-8 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to McNairy Central (Selmer, TN) to play the Bobcats in a non-league game on Thursday, May 22. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 25-8. McNairy Central won 7-2 in their recent non-league game against Dyer County (Newbern, TN)

The Choctaws now own a 31-11 record.
