In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Laconia Sachems softball team scored a tight 7-3 win over the Merrimack Valley The Pride.
The Sachems (9-6) will now prepare for their match against Campbell (Litchfield, NH). The come into the Division II match with a 6-7 record. In their last match, Campbell nipped Pembroke (Pembroke, NH), 19-7, in a league match.
In their next game, the The Pride battle the Pembroke Spartans (Pembroke, NH) in a Division II match, on Friday, May 23. Merrimack Valley will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Spartans come into the match with a 3-8 record after their 19-7 league loss to Campbell (Litchfield, NH).
