The Yorba Linda Mustangs triumphed over the visiting Valley Christian Defenders softball squad by a count of 14-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Marina Vikings (Huntington Beach, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 24. Yorba Linda will attempt to upgrade on its 16-12 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 17-13 record after their 3-1 non-league win over St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA).
