Oxford Pirates (Oxford, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Clinton Gaels (Clinton, MA), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Oxford upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Pirates host Millbury (Millbury, MA) to battle the Woolies in a South Worcester County - East test on Wednesday, May 24. The Woolies come into the test with a record of 11-7. Millbury won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Leicester (Leicester, MA)
With the defeat, Clinton falls to 10-7 on the season.
