In Monday's non-league game, the host Rogers City Hurons baseball team scored a tight 9-2 victory over the Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals.
The Hurons (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Oscoda (Oscoda, MI). The Owls go into the North Star game with a 0-2 record.
The Cardinals (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Pellston (Pellston, MI). The Hornets go into the Ski-Valley game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Pellston was overwhelmed by Hillman (Hillman, MI), 5-0, in a non-league game.
