The Ponaganset Chieftains softball team (North Scituate, RI), was tipped 9-8 in Monday's non-league test with the host St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI)
Coming up next, the Saints encounter the Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI) in a Division 1A (State) test, on Wednesday, May 24. St. Raphael Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 15-3 record after their 12-2 league win over Scituate (North Scituate, RI).
The Chieftains (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Patriots come into the Division 2 test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Portsmouth edged Narragansett (Narragansett, RI), 5-1, in a league test.
