In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ) softball team overwhelmed the host Becton Wildcats (East Rutherford, NJ), by a margin of 9-0.
With the triumph, Hanover Park moves its record to 17-8 on the year. The Hornets travel to Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ) to play the Chiefs in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 28. The Chiefs come into the contest with a record of 18-9. Caldwell won 10-1 in their recent league contest against Montclair (Montclair, NJ)
