Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME) and the visiting Telstar Rebels (Bethel, ME), witnessed Mountain Valley's softball squad tip Telstar by a count of 13-8.

The Falcons now sport a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Hall-Dale for a Class C South match on Thursday, May 23. Mountain Valley will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Dirigo (Dixfield, ME). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Telstar moves to 1-11 on the season. The Rebels host Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME) to meet the Raiders in a non-league match on Friday, May 24. The Raiders go into the match with a record of 8-5. Oak Hill won 13-6 in their recent non-league match against Dirigo (Dixfield, ME)
