The South Plainfield Tigers softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Payne Tech Lions to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, South Plainfield moves its record to 19-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to Summit (Summit, NJ) to clash with the Hilltoppers in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 28.
