The Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME) baseball the host Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME), 10-5 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Howlers now own a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Schenck for a Class D North challenge on Tuesday, May 27. Penobscot Valley will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Lee Academy (Lee, ME). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-5.
With the defeat, Central drops to 2-9 on the year. The Red devils travel to Orono (Orono, ME) to clash with the Riots in a Class C North challenge on Friday, May 23. The Riots go into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Orono lost 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Bucksport (Bucksport, ME)
