The St. Patrick Shamrocks (Chicago, IL) baseball got by the host Central Rockets (Burlington, IL), 1-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Shamrocks now own a 16-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Evanston for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 23. St. Patrick will clash with a Wildkits team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL). The Wildkits record now stands at 15-16.
With the defeat, Central drops to 16-16 on the year. The Rockets host Batavia (Batavia, IL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 24. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 13-17.
