In Thursday's non-league game, the host Evanston Wildkits baseball team scored a close 6-1 win over the Lincoln Park Lions.
The Wildkits (15-16) will now prepare for their game against St. Patrick (Chicago, IL). The Shamrocks go into the non-league game with a 16-15 record. In their last game, St. Patrick nudged Central (Burlington, IL), 1-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Lions play the Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 28. Lincoln Park will attempt to improve on its 13-18 season record. The Spartans go into the game with a 20-15 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Libertyville (Libertyville, IL).
