The University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host West Bloomfield Lakers to 4 in the Cubs non-league win on Thursday.

The Cubs now own a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they host Farmington for a non-league test on Saturday, May 24. University of Detroit Jesuit will play a Falcons team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Churchill (Livonia, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 5-22.

With the defeat, West Bloomfield drops to 12-8 on the year. The Lakers travel to University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) to play the Knights in a non-league test on Friday, May 23. The Knights go into the test with a record of 2-4. University Liggett lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI)
