University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the host Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI), 7-4 in a non-league game.
With the victory, University Liggett improves its record to 12-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Divine Child (Dearborn, MI) to play the Falcons in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 27. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 13-5.
The Blue Devils now have a 10-7 record.
