Austin Prep Cougars (Reading, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Buckingham Browne & Nichols Knights (Cambridge, MA), 15-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Austin Prep upgrades its record to 20-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Haverhill (Haverhill, MA) to battle the Hillies in a non-league test on Thursday, May 26. The Hillies come into the test with a record of 6-11.
With the defeat, Buckingham Browne & Nichols falls to 8-11 on the season. The Knights host Lawrence Academy (Groton, MA) to battle the Spartans in a Independent School test on Wednesday, May 25. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 11-3.
