The Leyden Eagles got by the visiting Glenbard South Raiders baseball team by a count of 9-8 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 7-20 record. They take the field next when they host Evanston for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 25. Leyden will face a Wildkits team coming off a 16-6 non-league win over Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Wildkits record now stands at 19-9.
Next, the Raiders face the Wheaton North Falcons (Wheaton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 24. Glenbard South will attempt to move on its 17-13 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 14-18 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Romeoville (Romeoville, IL).
