The Pope John XXIII baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Morris Knolls Golden Eagles to 5 in the non-league victory on Monday.
The (10-6) will now prepare for their match against Livingston (Livingston, NJ). The Lancers go into the non-league match with a 12-9 record. In their last match, Livingston edged West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ), 5-3, in a non-league match.
The Golden Eagles (11-8) will now prepare for their match against Sparta (Sparta, NJ). The Spartans go into the North Jersey - National match with a 8-3 record.
