Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Pinckney Pirates (Pinckney, MI) and the host Novi Wildcats (Novi, MI), witnessed Pinckney's softball squad tip Novi by a count of 8-6.

The Pirates now sport a 21-5 record. They play next when they host Ypsilanti for a Southeastern - White match on Tuesday, May 24.

The Wildcats (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI). The Knights come into the Lakes Valley test with a 0-1 record.
